Raffi Hovannisian discusses Armenia’s problems in the U.S.

During his official visit to Washington, Raffi Hovannisian met with Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Eric Rubin on June 3, the press service of Raffi Hovannisian said.

In a private meeting at the Department of State, they discussed Armenia's domestic democratic challenges and its international problems, including a resolution to the Nagorno Karabakh conflict and a true recognition of the Armenian Genocide and Great National Dispossession of 1915.

On the same day Hovannisian delivered a speech at the George Washington University Law School. The event entitled "A Conversation on Armenia," was organized by the Institute for European, Russian, and Eurasian Studies, Policy Forum Armenia, and the Armenian Bar Association.
