Adibekian: We should find out who fired and who was on the defensive

“Being acquainted with Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan and having examined his activities, I can say that he is a pragmatic man who has adopted the same policy as Russian President Putin: let’s forget what happened and try to understand what we should do now. His immediate surroundings now include a younger generation who cannot be accused of being criminal,” sociologist Aharon Adeibekian said at a meeting with reporters today.

In his words, a pragmatic prefers professionalism to party affiliation.

When asked whether the governor of Syunik province Suren Khachatrian has no equal in his field, Adibekian replied: “I am not a judge or an investigator. Suren Khachatrian has done much work. When we conducted a public opinion survey in their province, people who had no jobs were displeased with him. Perhaps his mentality of a soldier who saw a war had an impact on him.
