Two employees of military enlistment office detained for bribery

The National Security Service of Armenia detained on June 5 Artashes Arshakian, the head of the recruiting unit of the military registration and enlistment office in Mashtots district of Yerevan, and Ms. Gayane Hayrapetian, an inspector of the same unit.

According to the press service of NSS, Artashes Arshakian demanded and received – via Gayane Hayrapetian - $1,000 from a citizen in return for a certificate of registration at the military enlistment office, promising to provide also a military card later.
