Advisor cannot say if appeals of Ohanian and Tamamian to be granted

“Zhoghovurd” asked the former chief of Armenian Police Alik Sargsyan: “As an advisor to the president, do you know if Serzh Sargsyan is going to pardon former chief of the Traffic Police Margar Ohanian and former head of the Main Criminal Investigation Department of the Police Hovhannes Tamamian? In general, did you give him advice on this matter?”

It will be recalled that M. Ohanian and H. Tamamian filed appeals for pardon to the president. “It is the president who makes such decisions. It is not within my competence to make any proposals and requests. I cannot comment on the issue,” Alik Sargsyan replied.
