Strong wind blows off roof of VIP hall in Zvartnots Airport

An accident occurred at Zvartnots Airport this afternoon: the strong wind blew off the VIP hall’s roof that fell on cars parked at the building.

The airport spokesman Gevorg Abrahamian told Aysor.am that no victims have been reported.

“But a lot of cars have been damaged,” Abrahamian stressed. In his words, Zvartnots continues to operate as usual.

“The accident took place far from the runway so no flights have been delayed,” Gevorg Abrahamian said.
