Lithuanian ambassador presents credentials to Serzh Sargsyan

The newly-appointed Lithuanian Ambassador to Armenia Erikas Petrikas presented today his credentials to Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, according to the presidential press service.

The president congratulated E. Petrikas on his appointment and wished him success. He expressed satisfaction with the progress made in bilateral relations in recent years, expressing hope that the new ambassador will make efforts to further strengthen the relations of the two countries.

Erikas Petrikas stated that he considers it an honor to be Lithuania’s ambassador to Armenia and he will do his best to use the existing potential and promote cooperation between Armenia and Lithuania in various spheres.

The sides exchanged views on issues related to Armenian-Lithuanian relations within the framework of the European Union.
