Pashinian: What money was Control Chamber head’s house built with?

Deputy of HAK faction Nikol Pashinian called today’s discussion of the 2012 annual report of the RA Control Chamber in the parliament a “show”.

Pashinian asked Chairman of the Control Chamber Nikol Pashinian what money his luxurious house next to the Defense Ministry was built with. He added that the house has an excellent interior and some people already live in it.

“Of course, I wish happiness to you and your family, but I wish more happiness to Armenian citizens. We speak about corruption and abuses, but, after all, can you tell us what money your luxurious house was built with?” said Pashinian.

The Control Chamber chairman replied he understood well the implication of Pashinian’s question. He added that a journalist asked him the same question recently and that he named the person who has made all the investments.

Pashinian said his question had no overtone and he just wanted to know who owns the detached house, who lives there, and what money the house was built with.

Ishkhan Zakarian just confirmed that the house is occupied.
