HAK deputy has only one desire – to defend prime minister

“I have only one desire since yesterday – to defend the prime minister. The current situation has formed not because of him, but because of the system,” the secretary of Armenian National Congress (HAK) faction Aram Manukian said during a briefing today when commenting on the offshore scandal linked with the prime minister’s name.

As for the gross violations revealed by the Control Chamber, Aram Manukian noted the system will collapse if a decision is made to detect those crimes.

“It is an ordinary show. The authorities have done all this to keep the given person in the center of attention. It would be a good thing if those guilty were punished, but it will hardly happen,” Manukian said.
