Ratification of Armenia-EU visa regime facilitation agreement starts

The ratification of the agreement on the Armenia-European Union visa regime facilitation has begun in the European Parliament, the correspondent of Aysor.am reports from Strasbourg.

On June 10 the European Parliament’s Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs introduced a draft, proposing that the European Parliament give its consent to the signing of the visa regime facilitation agreement.

A decision of the Council of Europe and the consent of the European Parliament are required for the final ratification of the agreement.

We would remind you that the agreement was signed in Brussels on December 17, 2012.
