Writer Vrezh Israelian commits suicide

The writer Vrezh Israelian committed suicide last night. He was diagnosed with lung cancer a few days ago, but was not informed about it.

The famous writer shot himself dead. One of his friends was not surprised at the fact that Israelian had a gun, noting that he worked with the Defense Ministry for many years.

The Defense Ministry spokesman Artsrun Hovhannisian told Aysor.am that Israelian received the pistol as a present: he was a retired officer and previously worked as the head of the information unit of Armenia’s Defense Ministry.
