Violations recorded by Control Chamber don’t cause legal consequences
The deputy of ARF-Dashnaktsutyun parliamentary faction Artsvik Minasian today asked Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia, Minister of Territorial Administration Armen Gevorgian if the Armenian government intends to apply to the Police and the Prosecutor General’s Office in connection with the violations revealed by the Control Chamber of Armenia.
The deputy reminded Armen Gevorgian what punishment the RA Criminal Code envisages for abuse of authority and misuse of credit resources.
In response, Armen Gevorgian said Armenia’s Ministry of Economy and its partners had discussed the misuse of credit resources. “Yet the violations recorded by the Control Chamber do not cause criminal consequences,” he noted.
