Bako Sahakian receives famous commander’s grandson

The President of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic Bako Sahakian received today Yuri Pirumian, the grandson of Daniel-Bek Pirumian, who was a famous Armenian commander and a hero of the Battle of Sardarapat.

Welcoming Yuri Pirumian in the land of his ancestors, B. Sahakian stressed the necessity of maintaining strong links with the homeland, the press service of the NKR president reported. He appreciated the book written by Yuri Pirumian about his heroic grandfather, calling it useful from a historic and political viewpoint, also as a book for military and patriotic upbringing.
