Mayor hands new apartment keys to art workers

Yerevan Mayor Taron Margarian handed today keys of new apartments to member of the Union of Armenia’s Composers and Music Experts, opera singer Ms. Irina Zakian and flutist of the State Philharmonic Orchestra of Armenia, Honored Artist of Armenia Tigran Gevorgian, the press service of Yerevan Municipality reports.

The mayor congratulated the art workers, attaching importance to their contribution to promotion of Armenian culture and mastery in foreign countries. He wished them success.

Irina Zakian and Tigran Gevorgian thanked the mayor for appreciation of their contributions.

Earlier, at the June 15 special sitting, the Yerevan Council of Elders made a unanimous decision to provide two apartments considered as property of the Yerevan community to Irina Zakian and Tigran Gevorgian to create favorable conditions for their creative activities.
