Fact of violations revealed by CC to be sent to prosecutor’s office

The facts on violations and misuses revealed by the Control Chamber of Armenia will be sent to the Prosecutor General’s Office, the deputy of Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) parliamentary faction Khosrov Harutyunian said.

In his words, the parliamentary discussions of that subject aroused expectations of the public. “People want to know not only who will be held accountable, but also what political decisions will be taken. Punishing people is not enough. It is also necessary to take measures to reduce the tendency to commit violations”, Harutyunian stressed.

According to him, time will show whether the parliamentary discussions of the Control Chamber’s report were a show or not. “If nothing changes, then the opposition will be right in their opinion that the discussions in the National Assembly were a show,” the deputy noted.
