Bordyuzha: Russia guided by principle of parity during arms sale
Russia is guided by the principle of parity when it sells arms to a country which is not a member of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), Secretary General of the CSTO Nikolai Bordyuzha said.
“This is a business, a market, the economy of the Russian Federation. It is another matter that keeping the parity in the region is at the center of a decision when arms are sold to countries which are not members of the CSTO. This principle was taken into account in concluding this deal as well,” Bordyuzha said in response to the question about the delivery of almost $1 billion worth of arms to Azerbaijan.
N. Bordyuza is participating in the second forum “Political and Security Guidelines for the Formation of the Military Component of the CSTO” in Yerevan.
