Kocharian: We cannot but worry about Russia’s arms sale to Azerbaijan

“Of course, we cannot but worry about the sale of arms to Azerbaijan by our strategic ally, as we are also aware that in any case the purchaser can always use those arms,” Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Shavarsh Kocharian told the correspondent of Aysor.am.

Commenting on Collective Security Treaty Organization’s (CSTO) Secretary General Nikolai Bordyuzha’s statement to the effect that arms supply is only a business, Kocharian said: “It is clear that arms sales is a business. But there is one circumstance here. The purchaser of arms becomes somewhat dependent on the seller as such arms should be regularly replaced”.

Let us remind you that the second forum “Political and Security Guidelines for the Formation of the Military Component of CSTO” is being held in Yerevan.
