Bordyuzha: Armenia’s security is at high level
Secretary of Armenia’s National Security Council Arthur Baghdasarian stated today that the armed forces of the country have sufficient strength and military equipment to prevent an aggression of Azerbaijan.
“Our armed forces are replenished with new weapons, which are of better quality than Azerbaijani equipment. No doubt, each new delivery of arms to the enemy contains some elements of concern, but the issue is at the center of our attention. The process of supplying arms, military equipment to Armenia is continuing without interruption, as my Russian colleague said yesterday,” Baghdasarian said.
“Our armed forces are replenished with modern armaments. And the process will continue in the future too,” the secretary of the National Security Council said.
For his part, CSTO Secretary General Nikolai Bordyuzha declared that Armenia’s security is at a high level.
“The measures on the creation of the national security system of Armenia, intensive Russian-Armenian cooperation, and arms supply as an aid confirm that the security system is at a high level. Work done at three levels – the national forces, Russian-Armenian cooperation, and cooperation within the framework of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) – shows the high level of Armenia’s security,” Bordyuzha said.
