President receives Georgian interior minister

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan received today Interior Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili, the presidential press service said.

S. Sargsyan underlined the importance of visits of high-ranking officials in the development of bilateral ties. He expressed hope that the Georgian interior minister’s visit and his meetings with Armenian colleagues from the Police and the National Security Service will prove useful and deepen cooperation in these fields.

At the meeting, the Armenian president and the Georgian minister also exchanged views on regional security problems.
