Tevan Poghosian: All opposition forces work actively
Commenting on the “offshore scandal” during a meeting with reporters today, the deputy of Heritage parliamentary faction Tevan Poghosian said that the issue is now in the judicial field and it is necessary to wait and see what arguments the other side will present.
Expressing his point of view, T. Poghosian noted: “I would be glad to hear comments from a legal point of view about the rules of registering a company in an offshore zone, who can do it, and what is required for it. Only in that case we can make conclusions. It would be regrettable to know that we really found ourselves in a situation when high-ranking officials engage in such activities”.
The deputy said he considers as positive the fact that the Control Chamber voiced problems, which will create an opportunity for executive power institutions to say whether the accusations are wrongful or not.
“I think the authorities should change. They should understand that people don’t want anymore to live according to their model of ruling the country. New people and new parties should come to power,” the deputy said.
He did not share a reporter’s opinion that the opposition figures have become passive recently. He said all the opposition forces work actively.
