Inaugural Yerevan-Beirut flight to be operated today
Middle East Airlines will operate today the direct flight from Yerevan to Beirut. According to the press service of Armenia’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry, a delegation of representatives of official and business circles of Lebanon will arrive in Yerevan in connection with the launch of air service between Armenia and Lebanon.
A meeting of the Armenian and Lebanese sides will take place at Armenia’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry tomorrow. The heads of the Chambers of Commerce of the two countries, Martin Sargsyan and Mohammad Choucair, will sign an agreement on cooperation. The signing ceremony will be followed by their join press conference.
The Lebanese delegation is composed of Director General of Middle East Airlines Mohammaed el-Hout, Lebanese Minister of Industry Vrezh Sabonjian, Lebanon’s parliamentary deputies and former ministers of Armenian descent, Vice Governor of the Central Bank of Lebanon Harut Samuelian, the head of the Association of Banks in Lebanon (ABL), the chairman of the Association of Lebanese Industrialists, high-ranking officials, businessmen, and the ambassadors of the two countries.
