One killed in car crash on Artashat-Yerevan highway

The Ministry of Emergency Situations received a call at 11:38 pm yesterday that a car crash occurred near the village of Masis on Artashat-Yerevan highway, the press service of MES reports.

A rescue team was sent to the scene.

It was found that a VAZ-2106 and a ZIL car collided on Yerevan-Yeraskh Highway. The passenger of VAZ-2106 N. Dadashian, 61, died on the spot, while the driver A. Nazarian, 25, received injuries and was taken to the medical center of the city of Masis, later to Yerevan. Doctors say he is in a satisfactory condition.
