Man injured when car hits post on highway

Armenia’ Ministry of Emergency Situations received an alarm call at 9:29 pm yesterday that a man was injured in a car accident on Dzoragyugh-Zovk Highway of Kotaik province, the press service of MES reports.

A rescue team of the ministry was sent to the scene.

It turned out that an Opel left the carriageway ad hit a lamppost on Dzoraghbyur-Zovk Highway. The car’s driver Sasha Mesropian, 42, received injuries and was taken to Surb Grigor Lusavorich Hospital in Yerevan. Doctors say he is in moderately grave condition.
