European Commissioner meets with Armenian opposition representatives

European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy Stefan Fule met with representatives of the opposition Armenian National Congress (HAK) Party Levon Zurabian and Vladimir Karapetian.

The sides discussed the importance of the initialing of the Association Agreement in terms of Armenia’s European integration. Stefan Fule spoke about the opportunities, which will open up for reform implementation in Armenia, the press service of HAK reports.

The representatives of HAK stated they expect assistance of the European Union in issues related to strengthening of democracy and protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms in Armenia.
