Baghdasarian: Armenia approaches Association Agreement’s initialing
Negotiations on the creation of a deep and comprehensive free trade area are proceeding successfully, with progress made in the areas of security, justice, and freedom, Secretary of Armenia’s National Security Council Arthur Baghdasarian said at the 13th sitting of the European Union Advisory Group.
The EU Advisory Group presented its report for the first half of 2012 (January-June). On the whole, the work done this year was assessed positively.
“At the recent visit of European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy Stefan Fule to Armenia it was stated that notable progress has been made and we have approached the initialing of the Association Agreement in Vilnius on November 28-29,” Arthur Baghdasarian said.
In his words, Armenia-EU relations have been dynamically developing in recent period.
