HHK candidate wins elections in Hovit community

Elections of the community head were held yesterday in Hovit community of Shirak province.

According to the press service of the Central Election Commission, candidate of Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) Avetik Seropian collected 134 votes and unaffiliated person Razmik Hakobian received 124 votes.

262 of the 394 eligible voters of the community voted in the election. 4 voting papers were recognized as null and void.

The former head of Hovit community Samvel Petrosian died suddenly on February 27.
