Russian embassy: Tragedy will be investigated impartially

The Russian embassy today expressed regret over the July 13 car accident near the city of Podolsk.

“It is regrettable that the July 13 road accident at the city of Podolsk near Moscow, in which 18 people were killed, is being used by some persons to inflame ant-Russian sentiment.

We believe that the actions aimed at using the great human tragedy for narrow political purposes and undermining Russian-Armenian relations are quite irrelevant. Orchestrated politicized assessments are inadmissible.

The tragedy near Podolsk has no national tint. It will be investigated in a comprehensive, careful, impartial way and without emotions,” the Russian embassy’s statement said.
