V. Avetisian: President set task of partial solution of our problems

The time of Armenian Prime Minister Tirgran Sargsyan’s meeting with Karabakh war veterans has changed. “They called us about an hour ago and said that the meeting is scheduled for 3:30 pm,” Karabakh war veteran, retired Colonel Volodya Avetisian told the correspondent of Aysor.am.

He said that at the suggestion of the government, five veterans will participate in the meeting – the same number as at the previous meeting.

“As far as I know, the president has set the task of partial solution of our problems. Some solutions will be proposed, but we are not happy with this option. Our demands must be met completely. Otherwise we will continue our struggle in various directions and in another form until we reach our goal,” Avetisian said.

In his words, 10-15 veterans of the Karabakh war join their struggle each day. 30 veterans are now holding a sit-in in Liberty Square of Yerevan. Khachik Avetisian has been on a hunger strike for four days. According to Volodya Avetisian, Khachik Avetisian is under the supervision of doctors who say he is in satisfactory condition.

Let us remind you that the previous meeting of Karabakh war veterans with the Armenian prime minister took place on June 7. An agreement was reached to meet again in a month.
