Ara Harutyunian: Work in foreign policy should be more efficient

On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the NKR, Prime Minister of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic Ara Harutyunian met with executives of the Ministry’s departments and the NKR’s representatives abroad, led by NKR Foreign Minister Karen Mirzoyan.

Congratulating those present on the 20th anniversary of the MFA, the prime minister underlined the ministry’s importance in statehood building. He appreciated its activities aimed at presenting the NKR as a developing democratic country to the outside world, the press service of the NKR government said.

The prime minister stressed the need of active propaganda, in particular, for involvement of compatriots in the economic projects implemented in the republic. Ara Harutyunian informed the diplomats about the favorable conditions created by the NKR government for investors. He expressed hope that henceforth work in the sphere of foreign policy will be more efficient.

The foreign minister of the NKR, for his part, spoke about the importance of the meeting in terms of summarizing the work done and discussion of the achievements and omissions. He stated that the instructions of the prime minister will be useful for the organization and coordination of future programs.
