A group of activists stage protest outside police building

A number of activists, who were earlier protesting against the transport fare increase outside the Yerevan Municipality, have gathered at Yerevan police building, demanding the release of four protesters detained today.

Police have cordoned off the building. Deputy Chief of the police Valery Osipian has arrived. He promised to release the detainees if the protesters move one meter away from the entrance of the police building.
