David Sanasarian: This unnamed movement should gather momentum

“The movement against the transport fare increase is a movement for civil dignity and interests, rather than for nonpayment of 50 drams. The struggle of our citizens has lead to a significant victory. This unnamed movement should gather momentum,” David Sanasarian, the secretary of Hello Yerevan faction of the Yerevan Council of Elders, said at a meeting with reporters today.

Commenting on the demands for several officials of Yerevan Municipality to resign, D. Sanasarian said that time will show whether these demands are realistic or not. “Prior to that, I can say that if anyone is unable to do work well, they should resign,” he noted.
