Protest staged outside Yerevan Municipality

Activists of ‘We pay 100 Drams’ movement are staging a protest outside the Yerevan Municipality. Protesters demand that all the persons responsible for the increase in public transport fares should be punished.

“We demand dismissal of all those responsible for the fare hikes. We also demand resignation of Yerevan Mayor Taron Margarian,” protesters declared.

We would remind you that yesterday the mayor of Yerevan temporarily suspended the July 19 decision on an increase in public transport fares.
