Proshian administrator to form new staff

The administrator of Proshian village, member of Republican Party of Armenia Arthur Muradian is going to form a new staff as all the employees flatly refused to work with him, Aysor.am was informed by A. Muradian.

Yesterday all the employees of the Proshian village administration submitted applications for resignation. The former head of the administration staff Lusine Petoyan told the correspondent of Aysor.am that the protest action is related to the murder of the Proshian village administrator Hrach Muradian and the fact that those guilty have not been found.

In the words of Arthur Muradian, the administration is not working now. He said he offered all the employees to return to work, but they declared that they “cannot work in such an atmosphere”.

Asked what demands the staff made, A. Muradian replied that their demands are related to the detection of Hrach Muradian’s murder.

Asked what connection he had to the case, Arthur Muradian replied he does not know himself. As regards the rumors that Arthur Muradian settled a score with the former village administrator because of his post, Muradian said: “This is nonsense”. In his words, he was on good terms with the former administrator, despite the fact that they were rivals.

Let us remind you that around 9:00 am on April 2 the body of Hrach Muradian was found near the village administration. He was shot dead by an unknown person. Hrach Muradian received a gunshot wound to the temple. A criminal case was opened under Article 104 part 2 point 2 and Article 235 part 1 of the RA Criminal Code.

50-year-old Hrach Muradian headed the village community from 2005. He left behind four children.
