76 accident-prone balconies to be repaired

Repairs of accident-prone balconies in the city are underway under the 2013 construction and improvement program of the Yerevan Municipality. 76 most accident-prone balconies will be repaired urgently, the press service of Yerevan Municipality said.

Repair work is done based on the designs developed by Yerevanproject CJSC, with the exteriors and architectural peculiarities being preserved.

According to the source, in fact balconies are property of apartment owners so any problems related to balconies should be solved by owners and condominiums. However, given the problem’s importance, it was decided to do repair work as part of the programs implemented by Yerevan Municipality.
