Martirosian opposed to Raffi Hovannisian’s nomination as deputy

Heritage Party has not yet made a final decision on nomination of their candidate in the by-election in Syunik province.

“There is still no final decision. Personally, I am opposed to Raffi Hovannisian’s running as a candidate in the by-election for a seat in the parliament,” Heritage Party deputy chairman Armen Martirosian told reporters.

He refuted the rumors that the public is disappointed in Raffi Hovannisian who has failed to bring about a change of power in Armenia.

“After Serzh Sargsyan assumed the presidency, Raffi Hovannisian said that a long struggle lies ahead and he won’t be able to achieve success alone,” Martirosian said.
