Policemen detained in attempted burglary in Gyumri

Two men were detained during an attempted burglary of a jewelry store in the city of Gyumri on the night of August 5.

The burglars turned out to be policemen. One of them is the deputy head of a criminal investigation unit of the city police Hrayr Kalashian who has served as a policeman since 2001 and the other man is a senior detective Artak Baghdasarian (since 1998).

A criminal case was opened. An investigation is underway.
