Production of Briquette, Fakel, Eskimo and Plombir ice creams banned

During the checks conducted at Yerevan Kat LLC, samples were taken from Briquette, Fakel, Eskimo and Plombir ice creams and sent for laboratory testing on July 25, the press service of the State Food Safety Service (SFSS) said.

According to a report of the Republican Center for Veterinary Sanitary and Phytosanitary Services state non-profit organization, the indicated ice creams do not meet requirements of the Armenian government’s decision No 1925-N of December 21, 2006.

By the SFSS head’s decision of August 6, 2013, production of Briquette, Fakel, Eskimo, and Plombir ice creams was banned.

The director of Yerevan KAT LLC has been instructed to eliminate the violations revealed and to organize production of the above mentioned ice creams in accordance with the government decision No 1925-N.
