Karabakh war veterans vow to struggle until victory

More than 20 years have passed since the Karabakh war, but the Armenian government still fails to allocate financial resources to war veterans, Hovik Bardumyan, a Karabakh war veteran, told a news conference in Yerevan.

“The veterans were forced to organize protests,” he said, adding that they are holding sit-ins not only in Yerevan but also in Armenian provinces, demanding to improve their financial situation.

Sit-ins are being held in Vanadzor, Bardumyan said, adding that Lori governor, Vanadzor mayor and police chief visited the protesting veterans and conveyed their support to them.

“We will continue to struggle in every possible way until we achieve victory,” the war veteran concluded.
