Ground floor of college collapses in Yerevan

Armenia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations received an alarm call yesterday, on September 9 that the ground floor of the college at 31 Manukian Street in Yerevan had collapsed.

The press service of MES reported that a rescue detachment of the Rescue Work Center and a task group of the Ministry’s Crisis Management Center was sent to the scene.

It was found that the armoured concrete floors of the college’s sanitary and medical rooms (of a total area of 30 square meters) collapsed.
