Man attempting suicide demands photojournalist’s presence

Information was received at 5:23 pm on September 17 that a man was going to commit suicide by throwing himself off the bridge in the city of Nor Hachn.

A regional rescue team was sent to the scene. Policemen and an ambulance were also called.

It turned out that the man who intended to commit suicide was V.S., 34, of Nor Hachn. He demanded that photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan be present at the scene. After long negotiations with the man, Shamshyan persuaded him to change his mind.
