Man, 55, tries to commit suicide in Yerevan

Ministry of Emergency Situations received a phone call at 3:00 pm today that a man was trying to commit suicide by jumping off a barrier of the underground crossing in Garegin Nzhdeh Square of Yerevan, the press service of the ministry said.

A rescue team of the ministry was sent to the scene.

Rescuers and a bystander prevented N.S., 55, from committing suicide.
