Republican Medical Center opens in Nagorno Karabakh

President of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic Bako Sahakian participated in the opening ceremony of the new complex of the Republican Medical Center, the press service of the NKR President reported.

Bako Sahakian said that the operation of the leading medical institution of the republic will give renewed impetus to the development of healthcare in Artsakh.

He expressed his gratitude to national benefactor Samvel Karapetian for construction of the Republican Medical Center’s new complex, stressing that his deed is the best manifestation of patriotism and devotion to the Armenian people.

The opening ceremony was attended by second President of the NKR Arkady Ghukasian, Speaker of Armenia’s National Assembly Hovik Abrahamian, First Lady of Armenia Rita Sargsyan, Primate of the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church, Archbishop Pargev Martirosian, Speaker of the NKR parliament Ashot Ghulian, NKR Prime Minister Ara Harutyunian, member of the British House of Lords, Baroness Caroline Cox, high-ranking officials of Artsakh and Armenia, and a lot of guests from abroad.
