Tachat Vardapetian: Georgian Armenians didn’t make final decision yet
“The Armenians living in Georgia have not yet made a final decision about who they will vote for in the Georgian presidential election,” deputy of the Armenian parliament, member of the Republican Party of Armenia Tachat Vardapetian told reporters today.
He at the same time made a guess that Armenians will vote for several candidates. “Over two dozen candidates are running. It would be a good thing if Armenians gave their votes to one candidate, but in this case it is impossible,” Vardapetian said.
He added that it will be advantageous if the new president of Georgia establishes warm relations with Armenia’s strategic ally – Russia.
