Temperatures to rise by 2-3 degrees

Heavy showers are forecast to stop in northern regions of Armenia.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected only in the south of the country. Hail is likely in some areas.

Heavy rain is expected in Vayots Dzor and Syunik provinces. Winds could reach 18-20 meters per second in some places. Rain will ease off in the evening in southern regions as well.

Temperatures will rise by 2-3 degrees, the weather service said.

In Yerevan, the skies will clear in the afternoon. Winds could reach 10-13 mps.
