Jdrduz area in Shushi fenced, but admission is free

Shushi’s Jdrduz area that makes part of the Cornel Gorge reserve is being fenced so that cars will not enter the area, Sergei Shahverdian, Head of the Tourism and Historic Environment Protection Department at the Government of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic, said at the meeting with reporters today, according to Karabakh.open.info.

“Admission is free, but Jdrduz area is being fenced to prevent cars from entering it,” Shahverdian said.

He also spoke about repair work done near Tnjri Tsar.

“The area was equipped with amenities, a number of pavilions have been installed and citizens who want to use them have to pay to the company that provides services. Apart from that pavilions, the remaining territory is state property,” the department head said.
