Defense ministry has no information about Injighulian’s whereabouts

“We currently have no information about the whereabouts of POW Hakob Injighulian. The Azerbaijani side recently made statements that he wanted to be transferred to a third country. Now we have no information about his plans and whereabouts,” Armenian Defense Ministry’s spokesman Artsrun Hovhannsian told Aysor.am.

He said Armenian Defense Ministry shows understanding of various comments made in connection with H. Injighulain’s wish to be transferred to a third country.

“It will be much better if he is transferred to a third country. At least, he will be in safety in a third country,” the spokesman noted.

“It would be better if the prisoner of war returned to his homeland. But Azerbaijan does everything so that Armenian servicemen could choose a third country,” A. Hovhannisian said.
