22nd anniversary of NKR’s independence marked in Marseille

On September 28, the French city of Marseille hosted an event dedicated to the 22nd anniversary of the independence of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic.

Within the framework of the event, the screening of the film "Our Artsakh" by Artak Herikyan and presentation of the book "Artsakh: the Garden of Armenian Culture and Traditions" took place.

Permanent Representative of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic to France Hovhannes Gevorgyan spoke about the important achievements of Artsakh, its tourism infrastructure and stressed the necessity of visiting Artsakh.

Co-author of the book "Artsakh: the Garden of Armenian Culture and Traditions," Professor Patrick Donabedian introduced the cultural heritage of Artsakh, in particular, its architectural monuments, unique cross-stones and carpets, according to the press service of the NKR Foreign Ministry.
