Mkhitarian: Armenia must be ready for possible aggression

“Azerbaijan openly threatens Armenia. Under such conditions, we must be ready for the possible aggression. Exercises of state administration bodies are of importance,” deputy of the Armenian parliament, Chairman of the Union of Afghan War Veterans Armen Mkhitarian told Aysor.am.

‘Response 2013’ command and staff exercises took place in Armenia on October 7-9. The exercises were held according to the Armenian Armed Forces development plan.

“In case of a possible war, not only the armed forces, but also the whole system of government should be ready. Everyone should be able to perform their tasks. We need to take these exercises seriously,” Mkhitarian noted.
