European Parliament approves EU-Armenia visa facilitation agreement

At the plenary session today, the European Parliament approved the agreements on EU-Armenia visa facilitation and readmission, the correspondent of Aysor.am reported from Strasbourg.

”The simplified visa regime can bring a new impetus to cooperation, mainly to mobility of citizens, which is essential in building people-to-people contacts,” the document says.

The EU-Armenia visa facilitation agreement aims to facilitate the issue of short-stay visas for an intended stay of no more than 90 days per period of 180 days.
