Hrayr Tovmasian: Budaghian and Arakelian may reject amnesty
Persons whose cases are at the stage of preliminary investigation or court examination may reject an amnesty, Armenian Justice Minister Hrayr Tovmasian said during the briefing with journalists after the government session today. He added that trials of such people will continue and be carried to their logical conclusion.
According to H. Tovmasian, the convicts whose sentences are already in force cannot reject an amnesty.
As for Artak Budaghian and Tigran Arakelian, the minister said their cases are at the stage of court examination.
