Iskandarian: Where has Azerbaijani population vanished?
“The results of the Azerbaijani presidential elections were predetermined. No elections took place there. Let’s analyze the number of the voters in Azerbaijan. According to their data, 3 million 700 thousand voted in the elections, which was 72% of the total number of voters. Therefore the number of voters in Azerbaijan is 5 million 146 thousand. The question is: Where is Azerbaijan’s population of 9.5 million?” political scientist Alexander Iskandarian said at a meeting with reporters today.
He said that according to official statistical data, there are about 7 million adult citizens in Azerbaijan. “In fact, 3.720 million voted, while 5 million had the right to vote. Where have 2 million adult citizens vanished? If you compare these data, Azerbaijan’s population is 6 million, but official statistics show that their number is 9.5 million,” Iskandarian noted.
